ARTELUCE Sarfatti Double Mid Century Modern
Floor Lamp Lightolier Style! This is a very
unusual vintage mid-century combination
floor and reading lamp. It features a larger
pierced cone torchiere shade lamp for room
lighting and the weighted swing arm lamp for
personal task lighting. Impressed mark in
the iron weigh in the base along with C5220.
(see picture below), Gino Sarfatti for
Arteluce or Lightolier? It is 61" from the
floor to the top of the stationary large
cone top. 35" overall length on the arm.
Nice long, 114" good original cord and plug.
On/Off switch on each cone. Brown metal
base, center pole and arm weight. Brass
finish on the exterior of the cones and on
the swing arm. Interior of shades is white.
Stationary center lamp is set up for 3-way.
Smaller cone is articulated and moves in and
out and from side to side. The lamp is in
good working condition. It displays fine for
use but does need some restoration to be a
real eye catcher again. There is some toning
to the brass finish, some rubs and wear, a
dent on the edge (switch end) of the smaller
shade. Some rubs, scuffs and scratches to
the sides of the shades. The finish on the
base has rough spots and wear. Its a good
quality made lamp in a hard to find design
that would be a prime candidate for
personalized restoration to fit into your
mid-century modern decor.
Century Modernist Sculptural Chrome Acrylic
Swish 50s MCM Floor Lamp! This is an
amazing, vintage, sculptural mid century
modern floor lamp found tucked away in an
estate. Mirrored chrome stand and base, with
large lucite/acrylic "swish" accent. It
stands 52-1/2" tall overall. 11" across the
weighted base. The lamp is in good working
condition. Unmarked as far as maker or
designer. The iron base insert was produced
by the Mid State foundry that was located in
Charleston Illinois, and is marked Mid State
# 5M, dating the lamp to the 1950's. The
lamp looks amazing on display even though it
has some lite signs of age and use upon
close inspection. No breaks, cracks, chips
or repairs to the 'swish'. Chrome parts
still have a nice sheen with only lite signs
of aging. No shade included. I have
shown one picture with a black pleated shade
to give some idea what it looks like with a
INDUSTRIAL MACHINE AGE Light STEAMPUNK
Articulating Task Lamp Jielde NR! This is an old
original industrial/machine age
articulated lamp. Can be mounted to a
bench, wall or just used free
standing. It comes as found in an
estate has not had any restoration. It
is in good working condition.
Green finish has some wear. It doesn't
look new by a long shot but its does
have great steampunk potential if your
into personalizing. It has three
arms, a variety of ways it can be
adjusted. Base is 8" across. 14" from
the base to the first joint, 10" from
the first joint center to the center of
the second joint. 4" from the center
joint to the flare of the unusual metal
shade. No makings found on it. I've used
a new clear ball standard light bulb for
display,it will be included. Take a look
at the pictures below. It's a great old
original industrial lamp that would be
perfect for enhancing or using in any
industrial, steampunk, loft or decor.
Vtg Mid Century Brandt Ranch Oak Horse Head
Carved Texas Table Lamp: Outstanding, hard to
find, vintage 1940-50's August Brandt hand
crafted/carved horse head table lamp. The
A.Brandt company was located in Fort Worth,
Texas. They were known for their quality
western themed "Ranch Oak" line of
furniture. This rare vintage walnut and oak
wood lamp was hand carved by Bruno Winter,
and has a unique life like character. Heavy,
fine quality, and quite rare. The use of
liquid wax and Spanish whiting still clearly
visible. The lamp is in very nice condition,
all original. Lite signs of age/use. Finial
shows some roughness around the bottom edge.
Lamp is in good working condition. Good long
cord. Quite majestic in overall height
measuring 37" from the bottom of the base to
the top of the finial. Base is approx.
2-1/2" thick and 9-1/2" across. It is 21"
from the bottom to the top of the horse's
head where the brass lamp post begins.
Includes the original finial, no shade. A
beautiful lamp for the collector and a
awesome addition to a western, cowboy, mid
century, decor. Due to size, shipping is to
the continental, lower 48 states only.
This is a unique vintage
mid-century modern hanging swag lamp. A
fantastic looking fixture! Don't think there
is another one like it as I believe it was
hand made. Maybe a prototype? It comes from an
estate. It is in good working condition. No
breaks or cracks to the colored glass panels.
Aluminum framework. Has a nice long cord
looped through a brass chain. Chain still has
some sheen to it but does show some toning.
On/off pull chain hangs inside the fixture.
Fixture measures 13-1/2" tall, 6-1/2" square.
an awesome vintage 1950's - 60's pull down
ceiling light fixture. Designed and produced
by Moe Lighting. Stunning gold and white
startburst geometric patterns on the huge 21"
glass top shade. White frosted glass bottom
shade. Brass finished metal diffuser above.
Brass ceiling plate and small shade holder
plate. The lamp retains it's original MOE
Lighting Co. label. This is a quality vintage
fixture! The fixture is in very nice vintage
condition overall, with no major damage or
repairs. The pattern on the glass is vivid and
shiny (on the gold parts) with no real signs
of fading, scratches or wear. It was in good
working condition when removed and displays
beautifully. Not only does this lamp look
stunning when not lit but it makes an amazing
display from the shadows that are cast on the
ceiling when the lamp is on. The lamp is 20"
overall from ceiling cap to bottom pull in the
up position. Overall its approx. 34" when
pulled down. The overall width is 21". The
white bottom glass is 17.5" across. The
ceiling cap is 6". The glass and brass is in
very nice condition on this fixture. The cloth
covered wiring on the pull down has some
issues as the cloth is pulling away and
fraying right above the fixture. The wiring is
still intact but I would recommend rewiring
due to the age of the fixture.
This stunning vintage bronze table lamp was
produced by the talented artists and craftsmen
from the Marbro Co. back in the late 1940's.
To understand and appreciate its unique and
distinctive style, one has to look to it
origins. Lamps produced by Marbro were not
just run of the mill lamps that you could find
in chain run furniture, or discount stores.
Almost all of their lamps were built to order
for renown designers, high end retailers,
movie stars and other rich and famous
celebrities. Even presidents were customers of
Marbro! Lamps would began with a piece of art
from world wide artisans. Some pieces
were antique others were more period. In
the case of this lamp, it began with a finely
detailed bronze vase form from Europe. In the
hands of the Marbro craftsmen it took on its
distinctive style, with the finished arched
base and brass post, top cap, double light
socket. Yes it is one of a kind and the fact
that original bronze vase was hand made,
ensures that no two vases were identical. This
lamp is complete, and all original and in
excellent vintage condition.. It retains its
"Old World Craftsmanship, New World Style
Marbro, foil label, although the label is
faded and tattered on the edges. It also has
the Marbro embossed mark on the bottom of the
base. It is majestic with its 41" overall
height. 23" tall from the base to the top of
the bronze body. Quite substantial weighing in
at 16 lbs. It is in good working condition and
looks fabulous. No breaks or cracks or
repairs. Original pattina. Shade shown is not
included and was only shown to give an idea of
the overall display beauty of the lamp.
A beautiful unique and high quality lamp to
add to your decor. Bronze lamps by Marbro are
a very illusive, and finding this one has been
a real treasure for me. Today their lamps are
highly collectible and sought after by anyone
who are familiar with the company's history.
Another interesting note, bronze and crystal
lamps were the top of the line for Marbro, and
sold for $2000. to $4000.00 originally!
