for the Illinois Farm Supply
Company, who offered Petroleum Service
Products to farmers. Illinois
Farm Supply was formed in 1927, it is
now more recognize today as FS
Seed Company. IL Farm Supply icon is
in the corner and "We Recommend
Radiant Kerosene" on the main part of
the signs. Sign measures 13" x
9-1/2" with a 1" flange. Metal is
solid and in good condition. The
enameling is showing signs of age and
exposure from use. Its still
clearly visible and readable on both
sides. Has a dull look as the
enamal does not have a gloss anymore,
and could use a good waxing.Take
a look at the pictures, its a pretty
rare sign and even with the wear
would make a nice addition to any
advertising collection or display

contents believe it dates from around 1889 to
1900? Various name brands are featured and
illustrated. Overview of contents. It features
Farriers' Supplies on pages 1-98, including
things like Horse Shoes, Horse Nails, Toe Calks,
Pads, Never Slip Shoes, Calks, Hoof Packing Hoof

only carried the best grades of goods and their

complete in the West. Catalog features a nice
variety of items and would be an invaluable
reference if your into antique trades and tools.
I've shown quite a few pictures below, alot of
the items have several pages not just one or two
types. The catalog is complete, fully
illustrated, with pricing and contains 402
pages. The inner pages are very nice still,
clean no moisture damage, tears or major damage.
The binding has some issues as the spine
covering is missing and the red cloth boards
have some wear. A rare find in an antique
catalog that would make a nice addition to any
collection.
1931 International Harvester Reaper
Brass
Watch Fob!Original
brass advertising watch
fob and leather strap. From an
estate where it was a prized possesion of its
original owner, who
bragged that he owned and used one of the
first reapers that
Internaitional Harvestor invented. Fob is
brass, 1-3/8" across. Front
has Cyrus Hall McCormick embossed image,
Inventor of the Reaper, and
the dates 1809-1884. Back features the
embossed image of the horse
drawn reaper at work, and International
Harvestor Company around the
edge, and Centennial of "The Reaper" 1831-193.
Fob is in very nice
condition still. Lite signs of age and use.
Still sharp on the details.
Leather strap is in good condition other then
its starting to crack
where it goes through the brass loop on the
top of the fob. Take a
look. Its a pretty unique piece of IH
centennial memoribilia that would
be a nice addition to your collection.

30s Atlas Prager Beer Bar
Mirror Chicago Brewery Sign! Late
1930's
advertising bar mirror. Atlas Prager
Extra Dry Beer. Brewed at
the Chicago Brewery. Sparkle and color
set this antique advertising
mirror apart from other decal type
mirrors of the time. 15-5/8" x
15-5/8". Although this mirror has been
around for over 75 years, it
still remains in pretty nice
condition. No breaks or cracks. The
coloring is still vivid and bright.
The silvering on the mirror is
still intact with only lite tiny spots
showing some wear. Mostly along
the edges. Backing in place, with
hanger.

Macdonald Napoleon Tobacco Tin! Nice old
tin for you collection.

Tobacco tin. Round, 5-1/8" x 4-1/8".
Colorful graphics of
Napoleon
Bonaparte, cannon, cannon balls and pack of
tobacco with its heart
shaped lable. Tin is complete, all original.

stamp still in place on the lid. Lite rubs, a
few scuffs, some toning
to the metal on the lid. No dents or major
damage. A nice example of a
hard to find "chewing tobacco" tin.

All original. Tiny flake on the players hat,
not noticable. A couple of
tiny rub spots to the painted finish. Hard to

Early 1900's San
Telmo Cigar Mfg. Co.
Figural Cigar Cutter. This small heavy metal
figural ax cutter was an
advertising premium for the San Telmo Cigar
Mfg. Company that was
located in Detroit Michigan.
6-3/4" long, 2-1/2" wide on
the head. Marked on the front. San Telmo Cigar
Mfg Co. Detroit, on the
other side is advertising for the Washington's
Cabinet Cigars, one of
the brands that Telmo manufactured. Lite
wear to the finsh. Its
still sharp on the blade. Rare
advertising premium from the early
1900's.

condition on this old motor oil can. Kervoline
Equi-Visqueuse. A French
oil company product. Can is complete with
original lid. It measures 9"
tall overall, 8-1/4" on the can itself, 6-1/2"
wide and 2-3/4" deep.
Lithoed tin. Marked on the side "quel que soit
votre moteur, 2
fluidites seulement, E.e pour l'Ete E. H pour
l'Hiver. Which I think
translates to "Whatever your engine, 2 fluid
types only, E.E is for
Summer and the E.H is for Winter. There is
embossed marks on the top, "
Kervoline Emballage Perdu non rupris. Other
wording, "equi-visqueuse
lubrifiez avec, huile pour moteurs quervel
freres aubervilliers"
translates to - lubricate for engines, from
the Aubervilliers Brothers?
Can displays nicely overall. It does have some
discoloring up on the
top around the corner area, slightly dented
down one side, a couple of
smaller shallow dents, normal handling, age
and signs of use one would
expect. No rusted through holes or major
damage. Take a look at the
pictures, this is a very scarce example and an
early oil can.

REMINGTON
TYPEWRITER ADVERTISING MIRROR.!Wonderful old
advertising mirror. A
promotional item passed out by
traveling salemen to prospective buyers of a
Remington Typewriters. A
revolutionary marketing gimmick, instead of
passing out calling
(business cards) salesmen would pass out
things like this pocket mirror
with promotional advertising, and found that
their sales increased
dramatically. This is a nice large 3-1/2"
across size mirror. Red,
white, black celluloid back depicts the
Standard Remington Typewriter
along with the motto "To Save Time is To
Lengthen Life". Made by the
Parisian Novelty Co.-Chicago for Remington,
circa. 1910-1920. This
premium is in very nice condition overall.
Celluloid backing has no
cracks or crazing, coloring is still vivid and
bright. The mirror is
still 'useable' although it does have some
loss of the silver backing
in spots. The metal ring has toning.
This is a
unique
set of vintage Greyhound Lines toy buses.
Promotional souvenirs sold to
travelers who passed though a Greyhound bus
station/depot back in the
1940's. The kid could play with them on the
long bus ride and when they
got home, mom and a unigue set of salt and
pepper shakers to use. Each
is done just like the original toy buses but
these are salt and pepper
shakers. Nicely detailed, a realistic
portrayal of the actual buses
that were on the road then. Complete with the
Greyhound Line and dogs
on the side and free turning wheels just like
the toys. Each is
complete with its cork stopper in the bottom.
Holes on the front top
for shaking out the salt and pepper. Each
measures 2-3/4" long and 1"
wide1-1/8" tall. Lite signs of age and use, no
breaks, chips, cracks or
repairs. These are pretty hard to find! Don't
miss out a nice set to
add to your collection.

This is a vintage
first issue 1985 store display for
Xaiver Roberts
Furskin Bears. It is complete in its
original box with instruction
sheet, small poster, banner and
hanging mobile. It was displayed in a
store to advertise the Furskin bears
that they had for sale. The set in
in very nice condition still. My
pictures don't due it justice as I did
not have a place to hang the mobile up
and get better pictures. Mobile
is heavy cardboard with colorful
graphics full round. It has a
centerpiece then the four double sided
bears swing freely in the rope
swings underneath. The large wall
banner is 58" x 30-1/2" The poster
measures 22" x 18" unfolded. This set
is the Original Appliachian
Artwork display and is not seen very
often due to is limited
production.

Match Company. Tin box
with hinged lid. Litho scene on the top is
of a black family in their
living room, dad is getting ready to strike
their first match on the
match box on the wall. It says " Their first
box of drawing room
matches, Paterfamilias "You chillun keep
back deah! You want you heads
blowed off'n you shouldus? One boys got his
ears covered, the other
three boys are hanging back and looking
scared. The little girls hiding
by moms long skirt. Mammy looking mom is
hiding behind dad! Box is
complete. Measures 4-5/8" x 2-1/2" x 1-1/2".
Diamond Match Company
motif on the front and back, word
"Trademark" on the end of the lid.
Litho is still looking great and the scene
on the top is really nice
still. Only lite wear here and there, other
then the one end. It
appears to have something hardened on it.
See the pictures. Its not
often that you find tin match boxes, and the
unique scene on this one
makes it really scarce!!
